Short story

I ran though the trees reaching after the man. The man that had stolen my little sister right out from under my nose. I stumbled through the forest ignoring the pain as I repeatedly twisted my ankle. I kept running in a vain attempt to try and save my sister from that man. I redoubled my efforts as I recall the look on her face as she was abducted. The fear in her eyes, the tears streaming down her cheeks as she cried out for our parents. Suddenly, I heard a man yelp and shout, "She bit me!" I sprinted into the clearing where he had stopped. I kept running, grabbing a tree branch off the floor and I swung as hard as I could, right as the man turned around. I heard a crack as the branch and the nose it had connected with broke. I dropped the branch as the man slumped to the ground. I picked my little sister up and put her on my back; before dashing through the forest back towards the house.
